Roofing Repairs
We do minor leak repairs to major repairs for very reasonable rates. Our goal is not to profit greatly from repairs, but to establish a relationship with owners. Sometimes, the homeowner is not able to afford a new roof. In these cases we do the best we can to prolong the life of the roof until the owner can afford to re-roof, or we can help get credit for them. FAQ
Can you give us an estimate?
Of course!, Our estimates are free, and can be done in a matter of minutes by using satellite measurement technology. Or in the event that we need to be on site, we can be there in most cases on the same day.
How long does the job take?
Most complete residential roofing jobs start and end on the same day.
How long do you guarantee your work?
We offer the industry standard labor guarantee of 5 years on shingle roofs, 1 year on flat roofing. In most cases, if there are no issues within the first year, there won’t be any for the life of the roof.
Do you do metal roofs?
Yes, we do standing seam, and “shake look” coated panel roofs. However, we advise costumers that many insurance companies will not replace the roof for cosmetic reasons on a metal roof. Such as after a hail storm. And also the cost is prohibitive for most people.
Is there anything we need to do when the roofers come?
Not really. In most cases, the job is noisy and there will be debris being handled from the roof to the containers. We only ask that you do not use the drive way until a final magnet sweep is done at the end of the job. I usually suggest that homeowner would be better off doing errands that day, and could come and check the progress if they wish. If they are not around, when they return the house will have a brand new look, but other than that it will look like nothing ever happened.
Do you do free inspections?
Of course! We provide free verbal or texted reports on roofs in the area we service. Written reports with pictures may have a nominal charge, usually $ 75 for standard residential roofs. Steep and out-of-the-area roofs will be on per case charge.
Will there be any money required up front?
No! Never give money up front for roofing jobs! We require only payments upon completion. We only require “good faith” payments on very large projects, or where special orders of materials are wanted by the customer. This payment would be only asked for upon delivery of materials.
Does your company do anything besides roofing?
Yes, offer continuous aluminum guttering. We also do repairs on fascia and wood chimneys when it relates to the roofing project.
What kind of shingles do you recommend?
The number one choice for us is a Vista Class 3 impact-resistant shingle. This shingle has superior adhesion and with standard application is almost impossible for wind to lift them. (barring a tornado). In addition, this is a impact resistant shingle which will reduce most homeowner’s insurance premiums by 15-20%.
Our second choice is Highlander class 2. Same manufacturer as Vista, only no discount for I.R.
Our third choice is Owens Corning Duration only because Highlander offers better adhesion for a little less money.
For Luxury homes that need a top-of-the-line composition shingle, we use Certainteed 50-year triple laminated Grand manor. Or the class 4 Impact resistant double laminated Belmont 20% discount on insurance.
What is the warranty on the shingles?
All of our manufacturers give a limited lifetime warranty against defects for composition shingles. Also offered is a 110 mph wind warranty as standard, or can be upgraded to 130 mph.
